A full-service restaurant featuring no kitchen whatsoever. Every table is equipped with its own microwave oven and can opener. Patrons peruse a menu of assorted canned goods: soups, stews, ravioli, baked beans, peaches in syrup, perhaps the occasional tinned fish or corned beef hash. The waitress delivers
the selected tin(s) unopened, along with any requested plastic cutlery. A sensor in each microwave prevents start when metal is detected. Also provided are paper napkins, cups, plates and bowls. Various canned beverages are also sold here.
Ambiance is provided by the synchronous hum of a dozen microwaves and the occasional triumphant ding.
Desirable for the less well-to-do, the paranoid, and the rushed. Optional table charge for the patron to bring in his own meal.
