I propose the stuffed chip: bored longitudinally, and injected with cheese, tomato, garlic sauce, peri-peri, anchovy--- I dunno.
It's too difficult for me to be bothered to prototype some myself, so I don't really know how nice they would be, but robots should fairly easily be able to drill them
automatically in industrial production then fill them using a syringe and hydraulic ram pump.
Pour them frozen into the air fryer or microwave, and zap them for fifteen minutes. Excellent especially in a butty, yum.
You could probably also come up with an imaginative snappy name for marketing purposes. I failed to do this. It wouldn't matter whether or not they were nice then, would it? 'Pop Tarts' come to mind, here.

Maybe coated in spicy batter, too. |

A miniature corndog, with different fillings. Corndogs are a staple of county fair fare, along with deep-fried butter. |

The tube could be crispy and light and as bubbly as you want. Filled churros? |
