At the flick of a switch on a remote (or by using the app) Film Noir Venetian Blinds will generate the illusion of the room being in a film noir set. Here's how they work: Running along the window side of each of the blind's horizontal slats are ribbon leds all linked to a processor.
Data fed into
the processor causes the blinds to deliver an image of a lurid flashing neon sign across an alleyway that is typical of a scene found in many of the film noir genre. This effect is strongest in a darkened room with the blinds feathered nearly closed, and appropriate music playing in the background.
Delux version comes with a bakelite control panel connected by a twisted brown electrical cord to a 1950s style unit attached to the wall adjacent to the blinds.

Is there a version that puts you in a Hello Kitty cartoon? |
|

If there's a film noir Hello Kitty production, then the venetians can replicate the visual effect, and the sound track will provide the enhancement. |

Bun! Sign me up for the deluxe version. |

To complete the 1950s fiction the delux bakelite control panel shocks you at inopportune moments. |
