Hula Hoop Team Competition Now As Video Game Too

Massive hula hoops are actually a thing. Now do it with multiple people.

See link to see one guy with a massive hula hoop to get the basic idea.

As hard as that would be, how much more impressive with two teams competing?

Start with the one guy each, get say 20 complete hula hip circles. Then add another guy, 20 hip circles, then another hula hooper, and another and another, team that has the best ability to synchronize wins.

       Too simple ...

Instead, increase the size of the hoops such that multi person teams are required to manage one hoop.

"The chosen facility has had to remove some seating to accomodate the ten person team event ... and over on The Great Plains, the hundred person team event is reported to be seen by the astronauts in orbit!"

Oops, had a misprint that looked like I was wanting 20 hula hoops when I meant to 20 circles on a single hoop.

So yes, it's 2 hoops the size shown in the video and you add another person, do say 20 hip circle thingies whatever you call them, add another person, repeat, and the team that does 20 synchronized swinging the hoop around their waist with the most people wins.

And yes, an expanding hoop that could be seen from space would be our goal as a species.

This is crazy, could do a cellphone app to do a virtual one of these using a smart watch. Download the app, get twenty or so other people doing it as well, clip your motion sensing smart watch to your belt, then the bell rings watching the virtual hoop team, you hula accordingly to keep the hoop going. Any players out of sync get eliminated the light up like getting hit with a phaser and blink out.

       This could actually be done.

Or just the Nintendo Wee where the motion sensor is on your belt. Look at the tv to see the team progress.

With this you could elect to have other people see you or not until you got good enough to join the online competition.
