Luftwaffles

A tasty way to remember aviation history
  (+9)(+9)

Steam roared from between the two iron plates as it made its escape, a specially designed baffle shaping the sound. Less than a minute later, the plates separated to reveal a perfectly formed Messerschmitt Bf 109. It took to the sky for the briefest moment before landing softly on a plate next to a small mound of scrambled eggs.

The Luftwaffle maker was a grand success at the breakfast table. It featured indicators shaped like landing lights, interchangeable iron griddles, and a small metal "fuel drum" full of maple syrup. The Focke-Wulf was a bit light on batter near the wingtips, but the Dornier turned out beautifully with blueberries on top.

Bon appétit!

       Wildly offensive! [+]

That wailing sound means your hunger has been targeted and is about to be blown to pieces. (see link to hear the Luftwaffle Maker bombing your hunger)

Maybe have a cooking timer make an air raid siren sound when it's done.

Conveniently located next to the falafel maker for ammunition.

[+] Trade ya a bun for a waffle.

The Stuka provides a knotty problem for waffle-making, in that the permanently extended landing gear, which is also responsible for the awful screeching whistle they make in a dive, is impossible to cook in one piece in a single-level waffle iron.

You would need a unit that stands higher and has heating elements on hinges that open and close under the main body of the plane and will contain the batter until cooked, at which time the hinges may be opened to reveal the perfectly browned landing gear. When the lid over the Stuka is raised the entire plane may be carefully removed to table.

       Do you get a whistle?

Served with London Blintzes and some Orange Jews.

For people with a twisted sense of Humus and a scent of mint for murderous ID olive cheese.
