Martial Arts Performance Index

This is a parallel rating for a bout that is independent and in addition to the won/lost judges cards that determine the outcome.

This rating gives a score for: Knockdowns landed (especially late) Damage at the end of the fight Near-finish submission/knockout attemps Comebackability How tough was the other guy

So even if a good fighter lost a few in a row, his/her Performance Index would figure into rankings and matchmaking. It rates effort and perseverance over time as well as individual bout performance.
