3d chess with wormholes to the various dimensions.

Standard 3D chess but the layers (dimensions) can be jumped between by structures holding the dimensions together. There would two or more round bars.

The bars representing wormholes to the alternate dimensions could be single layer or linked to each other, for instance enter one vertical plane and have access to all the other vertical planes for the full 360 degrees.

This would make 3D chess look like one dimensional checkers.

So in the example picture, black queen on layer 3 takes white rook on layer 6 in full quantum tunnel mode where it can follow any bar. In single plane tunnel mode would be different. [doctorremulac3, Jul 03 2026]
