Doc, I'm lucky in not being much affected by Trump's actions, and don't concern myself with them overmuch. But I don't feel like he, or his behaviour should be considered beyond reproach or undiscussable. After all, I don't feel that about other politicians. |

Case in point, I had put up a post of mine from 6 years ago regarding surveillance cameras that are in the news now. Was a interesting discussion with most of the people, but Xenzag took it to the one and only thing we're ever supposed to talk about, his obsession with Donald Trump and how much he despises Americans. He even talked about how happy he was Americans died in the Vietnam War, trying to free the people from the genocide of people like Pol Pot, the Khmere Rouge with their piles of skulls and the hundreds of thousands who perished when the Communists moved in after America's withdrawal. |

There are great places to discuss politics, the rules specify this isn't one of them. It's gonna happen unfortunately but it's nice when we can just leave each other alone and have fun with interesting ideas. |

Yes, in normal circumstances, okay, and I might even agree with you, but here it triggers the Xenzag xenophobic hate rants. And if my beloved country and my people get insulted I can't respond in kind and insult that person's country because I won't engage in hating an entire country and its people, not going to do it.
