Ride The Music is the collective name given to a new physical/musical experience.

It consists of a giant turntable, to accomodate the enormous records needed to create the experience, along with a ride on pickup arm. Here’s how it works:
Participants in the Ride The Music experience must first select a record which is loaded into position on the turntable using a combination of heavy lifting and handling equipment.

The pick up arm is then swung into position, and held a few meters above the record. The particpants then ascend some steps and climb aboard the seat enclosure located on the back of the pick up arm’s cartridge. Lowering the arm engages the super sized stylus with the groove on the now rotating record.

The entire sound generation process of a conventional turntable playing a record is now replicated, only in a massively scaled up form with the group of riders subjected to the vibrations and resulting amplified sound of the music.

Recommended listening on Ride The Music: “Don’t Stop The Dance” by Brian Ferry. Many other great tracks available

       Great artist, song, and album.

       Needs an appropriate category though.
