Searching For The Ping Pong Geo-Earth Model’s Zero Spot

The flat earthers have finally admitted defeat - well sort of. They now concede that the earth is a round(ish) ball, but they’ve managed to retain the flat part by developing a new model that looks exactly like a ping pong bat with a ball resting on it.

Known as the Zero Spot, the location of exactly where the round earth rests on the flat disc of the bat is known only to them, but it’s definitely somewhere in the hinterlands of Texas. It’s a small circular area, not actually visible except to those who cross over from the globe to the flat surface of the disc and travel thousands of miles out towards the horizon. From there when you look back, you see the earth as it appears from outer space, only resting on the bat aspect of the model. Making this crossing is only possible for those who venture inside the Zero Spot then step outwards again over its event horizon edge.

I myself once tried to find this spot, travelling the entire length of Route 66, only to be drawn off course by the cultural vortex of witnessing in person the wonderous Cadillac Ranch at Amarillo. There are those who believe that these Cadillacs were originally totally vertical, but the movement of the globe against the flat plane of the bat caused a gravity ripple that pulled them over to the angle they now present.
