A clean and simple store based on the co-op model that sells various "adult" products, with a targeted audience of people who shop for their organic vegitables at grocery co-ops.
They could sell benfrost's Tofu Sex Aids, and various natural and organic sexual devices, including hemp cock rings.
A bulk bin of cock rings with a scoop and little bags with the contents sold by the pound. A similar bin of (smallish) buttplugs would be available, with the larger buttplugs sold individually.
All natural "free range" porn would appeal to those who are not turned on by the airbrushed and plastified mainstream offerings.

is there anything in the unwritten rules that frowns on quoting other .5bakers and their ideas in order to gain some credence to a rubbish idea. just asking. |
|

we used to get a far classier kind of bloke in here, come back faceache all is forgiven |

It's almost depressing - the crap that's been on here the last few days. Almost makes me want to post an idea. |

[po] I'm sorry that you feel that talking about sexuality is not "classy" but I don't feel that way. I didn't get the impression that the collective users of .5bakery would be offended by sex toy discussion, such discussion is not unprecented here, and I certainly did not intend to offend anyone, I assumed that those not interested in sex toy ideas would not bother to click on an idea called "sex toy co-op" but oh well. I also did not realise that it would be possibly violating an unwritten rule to quote or refer to other .5bakers ideas, as I have seen such refferencing done before. If benfrost objects to my reference, I'll remove it. |

jake, take no notice. its been a long day and a lot of newbies talking rubbish. you have not come up with any classy sexy toys though - just the juxtaposition of organic food which is deemed pc and classy to some, with some dated ideas which may be offensive to some of us females. no offense taken, Jake - move on |

If I stick my sex toys in the coop, then where do I put the chickens? |

chickens dont care, all hang together |

There are friendly earthy organo-groovy sex stores here in Seattle. I don't know if they're coöperatively run but they could be. |
|
|
Why are explicitly sexual ideas "offensive to us females"? Did we sign away our capacity for pleasure while I wasn't paying attention? If anything, I'd feel left out of Jake's list up there. |

Thumbwax seems to be male, and he's offended by the idea's immaturity. Fine. I'm female and mildly amused by the thought of overpriced, slightly imperfect, bumpy, shrivelly organic sex toys with leaves still attached. People differ. It's okay. |

the best sex toy is a creative mind
everything else is just an accessory |

Actually, this was the best of 7 after seeing 6 - to put it mildly - "'uninspired' ideas" in a row I'd seen during the 01-08 trawl session. Not offended by the "idea's immaturity" - as I don't see any - just nonplussed, that's all. Nice composition though. |
