I speak my mind.
Don't like it... well then speak up like a man, debate me and change my mind. It is fully open to change.
I forget a lot of the threads I've commented on because I have a life which doesn't allow much of 'this', so I created a 'view' years ago that only shows me my annos. Now
I might not remember specific ideas I annoed to... but I sure as shit remember what I've typed.
Those postings seem to disappear...
...as though the topic of said postings is policed.
That needs to change to remain impartial.
Otherwise this place becomes just like every other fucking place.
How'bout no.
I don't know anything about that, but here's a game I made of the phenom ...

My message this holiday season. Replace "all the children of the world" with "all the wonderful Halfbakers"

The deletions seem to have certain themes involved. Almost as though certain mods have certain agendas. |
|
| |
Probably just my own insecurities surfacing. : ] |
|
| |
I don't think there are "certain mods" here any more. I may be wrong, but I think there's just the person who created this place and maintains it through her own efforts. Ultimately it's her house, her rules. Nothing lasts forever but, while it lasts, the rest of us are here because it's *not* just like every other fucking place. Thanks to her. |

It's the Auto-deleter who has added a new feature to their Auto-boning activities. |
|
| |
Here's an idea (to give the perpetually busy soup dragon even more work) Deleted items are only deleted for everyone else - they remain visible to the poster, only in a shade of grey. |
|
| |
A poster can delete annos on their own posts. God can delete anything, anywhere. If an anno of mine is deleted and I know the poster did it (even though it was a righteous anno that struck a nerve) I do not ever comment on or follow that posters future efforts. Thin skin is not an acceptable reason to 'cleanse' a posting. It is weak and avoids responsibility for bad arguments, faulty reasoning, and bad (half)baking. |
|
| |
I've never determined that God had deleted any of my annos or posts, and only once has a poster done it (Shame!!!). Let them show up in grey but with some attribution. |
|
| |
I only ever had one deleted, Bolshevik Bangers, apparently for the same reason the anarchist cookbook is banned. I was disappointed but ultimately I get it lol |
|
| |
Not sure I understand this idea but here's a holiday bun in the spirit of harmony... and peace. [+] (See link) |
|
| |
Peace to as well fellow sufferer. |
|
| |
It's not technically an idea at all, just a noticing so it will be deleted soon. |
|
| |
I make comments which are politically sensitive on others posts and then they disappear. |
|
| |
Either my comments, or the entire thread. Mostly anything to with jtmbpn. Just jog one letter forward on that word which makes no sense to decipher before it gets deleted as well. |
|
| |
One of my favourite halfbakery ideas is the one that requests new moderates which aren't all on crack. It makes me laugh everytime I read it. link |
|
| |
//for the same reason the anarchist cookbook is banned.// |
|
| |
Heh. I made sure to hard-copy the original in the early days of the internet before it was altered, along with a few other banned books which might come in handy some day. |
|
| |
Soon by the look of things. |
|
| |
// I created a 'view' years ago that only shows me my annos. // sounds interesting. How does this work? |
|
| |
The halfbakery has a very sophisticated filtering system which lets you create views of your own choosing. |
|
| |
Took me a minute or two to remember how to find views. I'll post a [link]. |
|
| |
...and then another [link] to the view I use the most posted by [krelnik] |
|
| |
Wait no. I've got them queued up in reverse, so [krelnik]'s link first, and then how to. |
|
| |
[pertinax] I know of at least one super-user / moderator besides the bakesperson, so there may well be more still out there. |
|
| |
[minoradjustments] super-users can delete annotations; unless you know otherwise, it might not have been the poster that was responsible. |
|
| |
I give some thought to the words I type. |
|
| |
It rankles to see them deleted. |
|
| |
Karma works, and when you yourself accept instant karma for your wrongs... it carries over to those who do you wrong. |
|
| |
just my own personal observation |
|
| |
//Super-users// - I can make double votes! Once you post more than 1,500 ideas you get this as a reward hahahaha :-) |
|
| |
But did you get the big S spandex suit? I got one of those. Didn't come with instructions though so landing is challenging. |
