Trump card game is a card game consisting of 52 cards, printed as usual with an identical patterned back. The front of each card has the portrait and name of a famous person.

To play: Six and a half cards are dealt to each player. The rest of the cards are placed in a pile face down (or maybe face up) in the centre.

The player selects a card from their hand and lays it face up in front of them. The top card in the central pile is also laid face up (if it isn't already). The names of the people depicted on the cards is read aloud. Any player may ask "who is <name>?" and an explanation must be forthcoming.

After everyone is satisfied that they know who the people are, then the player has to explain why they are similar to each other. Time limit of 30 seconds approx.

At the end of the explanation, or the end of the 30 seconds, whichever comes sooner, all the other players collectively decide whether the explanation is satisfactory. In the case of a tie, the player currently playing has the casting vote on their own explanation. If the explanation is deemed good, then the player keeps both cards and adds them to their own hand. If the explanation is deemed unsatisfactory, then both cards are placed on the discard pile.

The Trump card always wins, because Trump is the same as any other person without an explanation being needed.

At any point in the game a person may show the Trump card from their hand and over-ride the collective decision of all other players.

The person at the end who holds the most cards is the winner. However, anyone holding the Trump card is disqualified from winning.

I was expecting a kind of government who's who, where important positions in government are held by members of the extended Trump family, you know, the kind of thing you'd expect to see in a modern meritocratic democracy, but this works too. [zen_tom, Aug 04 2020]

So if you're dealt the Trump card at the beginning of the game, because there's no way of getting rid of it, you'll still have it at the end of the game and you'll lose the game? Clearly a metaphor for something...

I think it’s time we had a separate category allocated to Trump on the halfbakery. This would be a 'catch all' for posting ideas about various despots and megalomaniacs, so we might see dubious ideas relating to the likes of Stalin, Pol Pot, Nero, Mao, and of course the ultimate dictator Hitler - albeit now displaced from his previously unassailable throne by Trump. My alternative proposal is for a Village Idiot descriptor, with the simple 'Man Babies' - Trump, subheading.

       Howabout public: politics: demagoguery?

The important question for you is: Did Trump really try to ban TikTok just because their teenaged users played a trick on him by fake registering for one of his Covid rallies?

Because if so, you may find yourself banned, with Apple buying your card game and Trump replaced by Tim Cook. [+]

Trump trump trump trump trump. But Trump trump trump. Also Trump because Trump. You're watching CNN.

Let's admit that anti-Trump segments are what make CNN slightly watchable. Although I don't hit those segments the very few times I've tried making return visits. Otherwise, it would just be more of Cooper and Qwest jerking each other off.

So the combinations of all famous cards has been calculated and there is a valid table of commonalities that can be referenced if arguments ensue? Trivial pursuit, get the answer type deal. The answers could be easy to 'deep dive into the life' hard.

It wouldn't have to be the orange sound bite.
