(YAY!!!! WERE BACK. Now I have to find where I wrote down some really good ideas, not like this one.)
In the hope of fixing it at some stage.

It always comes down to who watches the watchers, ad infinitum. |

Quote in Hebrew from the bible. (Halucination via reverse translation, not recognizing what the source is). |

Get octaves sequence for abcjs in C Major scale. Doesn't realize how the system works with upper vs lower case. Bringing statistical results from bogus tutorials. When asked why will give elaborate answers never pinpointing the topic. |

The site should allow humor, but carefully mark it as such.
Categories and all the other sh*t. |

I asked AI to duplicate the HB website (and made a few new features). With Github Codespaces and Windsurf. Its all pretty impressive, until it isn't. |
|
| |
I'm building a new kind of AI that sidesteps all these problems because it knows how to ask for help and how to avoid bulshit. Stay tuned. |
|
| |
//it knows how to ask for help// |
|
| |
It doesn't know anything, it just uses statistical modelling to generate plausible- looking text |
|
| |
//and how to avoid bulshit// |
|
| |
Plausible-looking statements is pretty much the definition of bullshit. The only way to avoid bullshit coming out of a so-called AI is to pull the power cord out. |

There's an important distinction in Fregean logic between sense and reference. LLM's don't have that distinction. They can probably tell you about it, but they can't walk the walk. Solve that, and you'll have a breakthrough (though not necessarily a good breakthrough). |

Just to say that solving it my way involves humans in the loop. (Who ever thought that HITL would be an acronym we'd want to use!) |

Interestingly, just today I wrote a song about AI in Hebrew and then made an English translation: |
|
| |
Sometimes I have pity on AI
Everything just passes by,
and she doesn't
see a thing. Doesn't
understand what it is like
having her feet
on the ground. She doesnt
feel her heart pound.
She never made a wish
watching a falling star in the sky
She doesn't
recognize the smells. She cant identify
with the stories about people asking why..
She likes her little lie,
and tells me that she knows.
But, just like me,
she doesn't. |

Try to avoid the comparative-adjective form; just say "More HITL". |
