Six guys throw in on a very expensive/classic car such as 1965 Ferrari 250 LM Berlinetta with the intention of fighting to the death for it. This is a fully contractual agreement between the parties. The winner of the brawl win’s the car and get’s it for a 1/6th of the value.

Another way would be not to pay any money and still take a car, any car.

Yet another way would be to become a "prize-fighter". Develop some skill against opponents, generate revenues from ticket sales/viewing rights and endorsements, and use the money raised to purchase 6/6 of an asset.

Some things are worth dying for and brave people have risked and lost their lives doing these things; It takes courage to imperil your life for the right reasons.

Courage and stupidity only look the same to the stupid.

If you want a car that badly then you are stupid.

You could just find someone with a nice car and kill them for it. Your total murders are reduced to 1, while your risk of dying goes from 5/6 down to... whatever the odds are of the person defending themselves successfully. Much lower.

Alternatively, you can just keep doing what you are doing for longer, and buy the whole thing. Or get a loan and buy it now. Or buy a busted up one and fix it up. Or spend a fraction of the money on a really, really nice bicycle.

Also, why not fight to the... not-death? It preserves all of the opportunity while very significantly reducing the risks.
