Our kids are getting fat. It's a fact. Hell, we as a society are getting fat! (But let's not worry about that, we need to save the CHILDREN! DO IT FOR THE CHILDREN! *sob*) Anyway, we also have a rather bad energy crisis coming on if we really are running out of oil in the next century. I think there's a solution to both problems here. Instead of "recess" and "lunch" put all the little schoolchild darlings on big treadwheels from 11:30 to 1:00 and use the wheels to generate electricity.

Oddly, and sadly, enough, this is already half Baked http://online.wsj.c...1000-search,00.html

...till only one remained. His name; Conan.

Seems like the thing to do is to make school uniforms copper jackets for girls, zinc for boys, and have them run around each other during PhysEd.

[jutta] - Sheer numbers, then, would indicate that it really is a fantastic idea. ;P
