Don't get negative, get positively creative.

Mexico could go for the most consecutive appartment buildings in the world. What's only needed is three more walls and a roof. Addons include solar panels, cellular equipment or even cross continent service infrastructure.

And yes, I know it won't work due to the waste that is no man's land.

But, on second thoughts, the construction bombing could be done in the dead of night.

Hmm. you might be on to something with solar power.
The Mexico side of The Wall faces south, so is prime for solar panels. Then Mexico could export that power to the USA (at greatly-exaggerated prices) to pay for it.

Aha, no wait, wait just a cotton picking minute...how about we have artists from all over the Muslim world, come and paint a 7,000-mile mural on the stupid wall? It could illuminate the history of dictatorships, and what can happen when the people finally open their collective eyes

Border patrol may need to add solar panels just to control corrosion that will otherwise fell the wall in a few years.

And if certain folks or dogs passing by might feel a need to urinate on the steel, that will concentrate the corrosion felling the wall much sooner.

Murals will concentrate corrosion on unprotected parts. Trump's likeness is already painted on the wall.

This is a bit of a tedious point, but Muslims aren't supposed to depict anything animate "It is not permitted to draw anything that depicts animate beings..."

There is a loophole for mug shots, photo ID cards... and "anything which does not possess a soul." I am refraining from making the obvious jest.

The Berlin Wall was built to keep people in, not out ...

The Great Wall of China is a World Heritage site, and besides, no-one's ever suggested that building Hadrian's Wall was a bad thing, apart from the way that it gave the proto-scotch an object lesson in putting one rock on top of another, a skill even now restricted to a highly trained elite in the bleak pagan wilderness north of Carlisle.

Sometimes I wonder how Europe doesn't just descend back into the seven year's war.
