Removable labels are great when it's necessary to temporarily affix a label to something. When the label is no longer needed, it can be removed with little or no residue. Unfortunately, the only thing a removable label can really fasten is itself. I'd like to see the sheets made with double-sided adhesive (peel-off layer on each side) so that it could be used for affixing any sort of lightweight object in a non-sliding fashion while providing uniform support and yet could be removed without leaving any residue on the object to be fastened or the thing it's fastened to.
Double-stick tape sort of works, but objects fastened with double-stick tape tend not to stay perfectly flat. But not so big, and it's more intended for heavy objects than light ones. buddha_pest: I think you'll find the stuff they use on magazine inserts is gow gum (or rubber cement). But I'm guessing you want something more permanent - have you tried foam mounting tape?

I'd like something that holds reasonably well but can be removed cleanly. Tapes that don't cover the whole back can cause difficulties because material being engraved can sometimes flex where it's unsupported.
