This place is turning into the Hatchery ! +

Of course according to zeno's paradox, he (she) can be half born, then three-quarters born, then 7/8 born, but can never actually fully be born (poor mommy!)
-- phundug, Jul 18 2008

Some mothers are like that .... just can't let go ....
-- 8th of 7, Jul 18 2008

Congratulations! Sorry, can't think of anything witty.
-- nineteenthly, Jul 18 2008

sp: beautiful.

:)

:p
-- normzone, Jul 18 2008

Congratulations.

I just noticed people were bunning this.

Not that I don't think birth is amazing, as an idea it's a bit baked, but I don't want to offend.
-- MisterQED, Jul 18 2008

Maybe we should start putting their names down at birth.
-- nineteenthly, Jul 18 2008

prediction: late night postings will increase.
-- po, Jul 18 2008

Prediction: late night postings will be of erratic quality, display poor spelling and grammar, and show an obsession with counteracting the effects of sleep deprivation.
-- 8th of 7, Jul 18 2008

Congratulations on the arrival of mini-ze!
-- imaginality, Jul 18 2008

8th - will there ever be a 9th?
-- po, Jul 18 2008

"the die is cast" -- shouldn't that be "extruded"?

Congratulations. And thanks for letting us know. A bun, no longer in the oven.
-- baconbrain, Jul 18 2008

Et tu, zeno? Congrats to you and yours.
-- lostdog, Jul 18 2008

Hooray! More babies! Well done [zeno] and many felicitations. Mine came home from hospital last night. I slept between three and six.
-- wagster, Jul 19 2008

three and six people? that's a crowded bed!
-- po, Jul 19 2008

Sleep, whenever you can... and don't equate screaming (of child, at least) with the end of the world. They're pretty robust, sometimes you can leave them to get on with it.

Oh, and don't listen to any advice, especially not from people you've never met. Congratulations.
-- david_scothern, Jul 19 2008

Slept between 3 and 6, I know the feeling. Sleep deprivation is countered by happiness.

Thanks everyone.
-- zeno, Jul 19 2008

Congrats! (Don't we need 2 1/2 buns to symbolize Mom, Dad and Baby?) +
-- xandram, Jul 20 2008

Aargh! More babies! 'Not the happy, cuddle club'? I fear that there has been far too much happy cuddling going on and the 'bakery tagline is becoming increasingly redundant.
-- DrBob, Jul 21 2008

Don't worry, [DrBob]; just wait until the bundles of joy are old enough to type in their first solecism, and the straight-edge razors will be out in no time ;)
-- pertinax, Jul 21 2008

"From the video: The four F's are: feeding, fighting, fleeing and sexual behaviour."
zeno, Oct 18 2007

You had time to spare, Eh?
-- Ling, Jul 21 2008

I think the title should read "Alea jacta est + 9 months".

Congrats on the new little baker.
-- Klaatu, Jul 21 2008

Yay!
-- 2 fries shy of a happy meal, Jul 22 2008

"I never knew you had it in you!"
"I never knew I had it in me!"
Hearty Congratulations
-- gnomethang, Jul 22 2008

BTW, Merriam-Webster Online dictionary suggest " An entry has been found" ...which is clearly the case.
Wikiwords suggests that "The Dice have already been tossed".. Yup!, betting on Monopoly doesn't help either.
Enjoy the linked definitions!.
