Quite simply it is a sports game starred by multiple religious figures.

E.g. Jesus doing a slam dunk.

You could perhaps even modify the gameplay somewhat away from vanilla sports ruleset... to authorise various play styles. E.g. Jesus dribbling the ball on water.
