I've never seen "Independence Day" but expect that it includes a lot of audience cheering, emotive music and flag waving. I would go see the "Aliens win" version of this movie. There should be a theater that shows alternate-ending versions of popular movies along with the regular-ending versions. The two versions could even be viewed on opposite sides of the same screen.
