Public: Pillow Fight
Bouncy Pillow Paint Fight   (+14)  [vote for, against]
Pillow fight meets paintball

Inspired by Gulherme's spate of bouncy castle ideas and my wish to contribute to the Public: Pillow Fight category...

Four teams of four people, each team has a tub full of paint of a different colour and each person has an old or cheap pillow. When the fight begins, pillows are dipped into the team paint and a free for all takes place.

To add to the fun, the fight is staged in a large jumping castle. Essentially the idea is to get as much paint onto people from the other teams as possible. In addition, the walls of the jumping castle can be covered by large sheets of paper to create colourful murals.

More serious players may wish to include small scatter cushions or beanbags which can be soaked in paint and used as missiles. Towels would be necessary for those who cop a faceful of paint.

I still have no idea how scoring would work for this but I think it would be so much fun.

Part of my inspiration [madradish, Aug 09 2002, last modified Oct 05 2004]

Maby jumping castles need their own category.

Even better when the feather pillows leak and cover the wet players with feathers.

The other day I played football/soccer with three others in a special bouncing castle. Each team pair was secured to its side by bungee cords (no offsides). What a blast!

<Gulherme> nominates bouncy castles as one of the best inventions ever.

You know, when I read the title of this idea I was *sure* it was one of bliss's....

Additional weaponry: Fill a small water balloon with paint (water based is a good idea) and place the balloon in the end of an athletic sock. You now have the paint bomb sock whip. Perfect sidearm for close quarters combat, or when your main weapon jams..

Croissant, by the way..

[sala] - thanks, that's the nicest compliment I've had all day.

[thc] - I like it a lot, you could hang a whole bunch of them off your belt for easy access.

Croissant, and eat it with Relish, radish.
salachair, I too was fully expecting to see blissmiss at the end of this idea, but more extollers of fluffy poundage is never a bad thing, right? *grin*

madradish: My brother and I used to make them with rolled up socks at one end and then battle it out.. Then we began upping the pain factor by using tennis balls, racquet balls, lacrosse balls, pieces of brick, etc...
