COVID-19 Piñata   (+12, -1)  [vote for, against]
make a piñata that looks like the COVID-19 virus

You know what it looks like from your hotel pod of the same design.

When you burst open the COVID-19 Piñata, instead of the usual sweets and miscellaneous novelties, there is a shower of hard to get items, like toilet rolls and hand sanitiser, all wrapped in brightly coloured paper with ribbons etc to bring even more joy to the occasion.

NYT: Coronavirus Piñata (2020/05/09) https://www.nytimes...our-own-pinata.html
Step-by-step instructions and photographs! [jutta, Aug 02 2020]

It should contain fortune cookies with cheery messages like "YOU ARE NOW SERUM-POSITIVE FOR COVID-19" and "YOU WILL DIE FROM CARDIOPULMONARY COLLAPSE WITHIN 72 HOURS" ....

Perfect for homeschooling parents. Teach the kiddos while they beat their aggression out on the pinata. Brilliant, xen.

More efficient to just have more than one child, then they beat up one another. It's cheap, beneficial, teaches valuable survival skills and attitudes ("hate and fear those closest to you, for they are the biggest threat") and they actually enjoy it.

Well, the survivors do. The others, maybe not so much.

"Mum, What's all this twisty rope and why are the lollies funny shapes?".
-- wjt, Mar 20 2020

The fact that people are blindfolded to find the virus is also symbolic.

Must be an American trend then in that case.

If so, now's your chance to go out and impose it on the rest of the planet ...
