Computer: Virus
Cake Trojan   (+3, -7)  [vote for, against]

This trojan/virus goes into your computer, and is called "cake.exe".

You click it open, and it "promise you cake" if you can complete obscure text based puzzle, about cats, and companion cube's love life.

It will congrats you, and inform you that the test is now over. And that there is absolutely no chance of a dangerous organic malfunction, prior to your victory candescence. It will thank you for participating in Aperture science enrichment center, computer aided test, and bid you farewell.

It then pops up a countdown to cake delivery, in which it will freeze you keyboard and mouse, and start 'obviously messing up your computer settings', before formatting your hard drive.

Enjoy, Aperture Science.

Hackers do what they must, because hackers can.

Is English not your first language?
-- Twizz, Oct 07 2010

The odds are good. Around 400m people learn English as a first language, but about 2bn learn it as a second language.

I'm GlADos I didn't click on that cake virus.

(Ooh, another application for the new Tumbleweed Emoticon!)

[hippo] you're forgetting to overlap internet usage, available free time, and unmet desire to invent weird things with your map of people who speak English as a first vs a second language.

I was expecting this to be a way of gatecrashing stag-night parties. Disappointing.
-- Loris, Oct 07 2010

It would have been pretty much impossible to expect *this*.

I thought was a new edible condom.
-- DenholmRicshaw, Oct 07 2010

I thought it was a soldier-shaped cake.
-- daseva, Oct 07 2010

(-) If you're using characters from somewhere really cool and artistic in your idea, I want to see you do something really cool and artistic *with* them. "Use them as bait in a Trojan horse" is kind of disappointing.

Kids, this is your brain on non-prescription drugs, I think.
