Automatic car cover

Guys, What do you think about a car cover, that is fixed in your car, all you have to do is press a button, it will cover the car completely and press another button, and this will remove the cover. Please give me your feedback on this one.

Thnx SAP

It's obviously a good idea. All that's missing is a way to implement it without:
A) trashing the looks of the car
B) adding excessive cost
C) adding excessive weight
D) stowing water, mud, snow, etc. along with the cover
E) introducing safety hazards

Welcome, sap.

I agree with half. //All that's missing is a way to implement it.// ?!?

I think it's a good notion, but can you describe the mechanism?

Got a rough idea of the diameter of the rolled up cover plus a core of suffient diameter to support the weight?

Large gonflable car cover rises from the boot whilst seamed at the sides of said car, folds back over and remains fixed.

When you wish to use car again, press remote and the car will shake like a dog scattering rain water and debris off to the sides and de-gonflable.Or some/nothing like that.

For some odd reason, this reminds me of Dyna-Moe-Humm, by Frank Zappa.

Oh...Car Tarps.. I envision a lizard-car, with a growing skin covering. It molts on command whenever it gets too ratty, and the skin is biodegradable.

I think the Batmobile has this feature.

For some reason [moPuddin], I had the same thought when I was reading the idea for the first time and glanced at [skinflaps]' anno.
