Catholic Blessing Squirtguns   (+8, -1)  [vote for, against]
Fast, safe, and effective distribution of holy water...

A new pope needs a new blessing of technology to accompany him in dealing with blessing the vast throngs coming to visit him.

This squirtgun has a cross-shaped spray nozzle, so as to automatically distribute holy water upon the recipient according to custom cross-signing. Also comes with laser sight for targeted forehead oil annointing of charismatic types.

Wouldn't a sprinkler system be more efficient?

I see a new, strong pope on the balcony at the Saint Peter square in Rome, blasting the hell out of the devoute believers with a hose on loan from the fire departement.+

...acting out a scene from Scarface. "Say hello to my little friend! Ah hah hah hah!"

Done in an Xbox game. And I think it was used on an episode of Buffy, but I never watch it so I can't say for sure.

I remember from my physics classes that if you took all the water molecules in a drop of water, and dispersed them evenly around the oceans of the world, then a tumbler full of water taken at random will contain a big number of the original molecules, so surely by now all the water in the world has been blessed, or has been in contact with blessed water (a bit like the rainwater thing for the mikveh).
Is all this blessing simply wasted effort, or does the blessedness wear off?

[waugs]: I think Buffy's squirt gun was only in the game (I don't have the game, but I have the entire TV run on VHS), but it *was* used in 'The Lost Boys".

Also in "From Dusk Till Dawn"

Please excuse my poor comprehension skills, but does the nozzle fire the water out in a traditional, single secular squirt, or in a none-more-religious cruciform?
-- calum, Apr 15 2005

By having a rotating nozzle, you could use a linear-shaped nozzle that would genuflect in the proper order.

The film "tales from the crypt, Bordello of blood", they killed all the vampire hookers with super-soakers full of holy water.

any kind of gun in church is probably a nono.

They just stopped giving mass in Latin and just started facing the congregation. Don't move too fast . . .
