control the air flow over and tilt of a ceramic plate to influence the drying pattern of coffee particles suspended in a thin film of water

I just noticed that coffeeish water dried on a white ceramic plate sitting at the bottom of my very slightly tilted sink. I wonder if this could be exploited to create coffee drying pictures or even 3d structures?

Very cool. All of these images. [link] were painted with coffee so 2d for sure. 3d might take a long time. (+)

I may not have been clear about this but I was thinking of a system that would control the tilt of the plate and the air above the slowly drying coffee/water as it dried to create a picture. instead of micro placing each atom this would be a way of using fluid dynamics to place great numbers of atoms.

I'm confused [JesusHChrist], I thought people see pictures of you all the time in their coffee stains? And grilled cheese sandwiches. And just about every other medium, however unlikely.

...and it was during his coffee period that the then penurious artist used natural organic materials ...
