Build homes of Coroplast, with insulation, for people who live in the forests

I just finished watching a news item on Russia Today, about people living in the forest in New Jersey. These people live in flimsy tents. Senator's home for the Homeless, was formed to meet some of the needs of these people who, unfortunately, have nowhere to live at this time. (Coroplast is the corrugated plastic sheets, often used to make signs nailed to lamp posts, and for political candidates) Coroplast homes are made from die-cut sheets of coroplast, designed to be assembled on site, using die cut tabs and duct tape. Assembled, the finished dwelling is 8 feet by 8 feet by 8 Feet high (in the center). This is built from 24 sheets of 8 coroplast. The building is double walled, and the four inch space between the sheets is designed to be filled with expanding foam (great stuff). Building features a sloped roof, to aid in shedding snow, and will need a three pieces of 2X4 by eight feet. The one window supplied is double paned polycarbonate. Recipients will need to provide a level base for the erection. At this time we are researching bathroom and cooking facilities.

// signs nailed to lamp posts, and for political candidates //

That's a grand idea in its own right, and notably bunworthy.

Tell us again how big the nails are. Can they be nailed into any part of the political candidate ?

4 inches wire nail, straight in the sternum

Cheaper, and easier to transport, and at the end of use, to dispose of

The problem is not the flimsy, it is the site.

You mean wind forces, soil/subsoil stability ?

Perfect for a shantytown conflagration!

People who live in the forest, should be motivated to pack out what they pack in. i.e. not this.

It's great stuff, and never seems to turn up in craft shops in the UK for some reason. How's the second storey coming on?

that stuff's rather expensive compared to plywood though no doubt if you wanted to buy a couple million sheets the price would be less.
