Are pets nutritional needs really all that different?

Both cats and dogs like chicken...heck, everything likes chicken. They both like fish. What doesn't like fish? Even fish like fish.

Why not have just a bag of generic pet food (kibble) that works for a broad range of common house critters?

Assuming i didn't just get trolled, I provided a helpful [link] by searching the internet with a "search engine" at a website you can get to by typing http://www.google.com in a typical URL bar.

interesting idea but I think one big bowl of food for your cat and dog isn't really going to work and the budgie certainly won't get a look in.

What do I feed my pet chicken?

In a word: Yes.

Maybe you can come up with something that ferrets, budgies, stick insects and giant African land snails can all eat, but I doubt you can keep them all healthy.

How about tins of "Postmen"? (for dogs of course)

Buying cat and dog food is a consumer scam anyway; much better to go to the butcher and buy raw materials.

Baked, by proxy? Fishfood, (if you then feed your goldfish the cat, cat to the dog.
