but doggies like to get wet...mine take great joy in jumping into the horse water troughs on these hot days.... Rainy days? no problem, they still go out and hunt for unsuspecting rodents.

Dog Ed: I deleted your annotation by mistake! Sorry!!! You suggested that I look into raincoats for dogs. I've done that. Haven't found one with a hood that doesn't drive my dog crazy, and it's her face more than anything else that she can't stand to get wet.

Not a good idea, seeing as it's the nearest most dogs get to a decent wash. Some kind of shampoo dispensing unit would be more appropriate.
