Door Honk   (+13)  [vote for, against]

By the power of human interaction, infrared bell to object sensing technology and some tweaking.

A doorbell that once pressed honks the horn of the car parked in the driveway.

Should give a start even if the car doesn't.

[yeah,I know. It's kind of my little tribute]

//if they don't ring your bell or knock on your door.//

"Honk" in this case.

//if they don't ring your bell or knock on your door.//
<obscure song reference> Tap on your window, too? </osr>

I'd like the opposite: pressing the car horn would ring the doorbell. For carpool drivers whose pickups don't listen closely enough for the horn.

Me no car. Could it set off the neighbor's down the street? They would have to come out in the dead of winter, and see why their horn honked. (evil +++'s)

[blissmiss] <John Donne> send not to know [4whom] the horn honks, it honks for thee </John Donne>

"By the Power of Human Interaction!"

I get it. He-Man is going to kill you with his scare-horn.
-- grza, Oct 15 2007

[grza] I hear where you are coming from, you do give new meaning to "the power of grey skull".
