Fashion: Mood Indicator
Dramatic Lighting Accessories   (+4)  [vote for, against]
Lights on your clothes cast you in the appropriate light.

This fashion accessory consists of a wide collar and brimmed hat with embedded LED lights aimed at the head of the wearer. The lights are controlled by a sensor placed on the skin that detects the general mood of the wearer, and dramatically illuminates the face to match one's mood. When angry or stressed, the LEDs on the collor would light the face from below for a more sinister effect. When happy, a pleasing 3/4 fill lighting effect could be used. When feeling calm, backlights would create a nice halo.

A lovely idea. I'm surprised no one ever noticed it.

I'm just wondering what a // 3/4 fill lighting effect // is. But [+].

Maybe meant "3 Point Lighting" (key, fill, and back) as distinct from 4 Point (which adds a background light).

In 2003 you needed a wide collar and wide brimmed hat to get this to work. Now you can embed the lighting in the flesh, like those knobs and spikes that make people look like demons. And other stuff surgically implanted. Tiny holograms and micro projectors could be used. Small contractile subcutaneous bulbs of fragrance appropriate to the occasion could be activated. Internal lighting could make eyes really shine. Watch your heart beat. Advertise in a crawl on your forehead. Freaky. I don’t like this idea but it is worth a [+].
