Drunk Debates   (+1, -1)  [vote for, against]
In vino veritas (in wine there is truth)

Yep, looks like in a few months Dubya and Kerry will be debating each other, and if it's like the 2000 debates, it will be cautious and insipid.

I propose that, perhaps 30 minutes before the big debate, each of them drink 2 scotches, 2 bourbons, and 2 beers (even more if they wish).

Dick Cheney has a shit-mouth. http://www.emedia.c...1700.89/indexb_html
I'm pretty sure this is what [Pocke] was refering to. [Laughs Last, Oct 04 2004, last modified Oct 05 2004]

I really want to m-f-d this as a rant, advocacy, or other such thing.

this assumes they don't do this already. large assumption.

Get thee hence, Great Satan.

"...Gonna get high man I'm gonna get loose,
need me a triple shot of that juice
Gonna get drunk don't you have no fear
I want one bourbon, one scotch and one beer..."

You may be the Great Satan but I am harder than Jesus!
-- harderthanjesus, Jun 25 2004

If you wanna watch a lively debate, turn on the CBC around election time. Throwing in a separatist leader and a new-age socialist into a four-man free-for-all basically removes any trace of insipidity.

Based on past performance, Bush will simply decline to debate.
-- Laughs Last, Jun 25 2004

Maybe Bush will get Cheney to tell Kerry to go fuck himself...he seems to like doing that, apparently.

Neither candidate appears capable of the rhetorical argument. -

Heh, They don't need alchohol to make complete tits of themselves! Just listen when they think the mike is off! ;) However, it would be worth it but you'd need Jerry Springer as the host. Defo +

[python] Nope, I'm not new. Some of the other people around here will tell you how rude I am. But I'm really not. And 'using that kind of language' isn't really considered stooping low...at least, not in the kind of society I'm used to. Things are changing....get used to it.
-- Pocketassreturn, Jun 26 2004

I disagree. You can't run a campaign based on what others have to say about you.
-- dpsyplc, Jun 26 2004

Kerry, is he a striker?
