I made one last night by duct taping a mini mag flashlight to my regular crane neck bedlamp. When your bed partner is awake, both can use the floodlamp to read; once one goes to sleep, re-adjust the lamp neck pointing direction and switch to the tiny flashlight with a focused beam. It would be best if the focused flashlight type light ran on a/c and if both lights were fed by a dimmer switch to give a vast array of lighting combinations. A lightbulb could be designed with a floodlight bulb surrounding a spotlight bulb; two sperate bulbs would likely be less expensive though.
