DucK-Tape   (+2, -6)  [vote for, against]
It's waterproof to stop those hose leaks fast

Garden hose leaking, a few wraps of Waterproof Duck-Tape will take care of it. Don't confuse it with duct tape, it's made of cloth and won't stop that leak. DucK-Tape is treated with duck oil, the stuff that keeps duck wings nice and dry and flying high.

Sounds like pipe tape to me.

And as the duck slowly sinks into the puddle of water on the bathroom floor we say so long to another boned idea.

'kin 'ell - waterproof tape!! wot'll those kerrraaaayyzeeee boffins think of next?

Ooh! Ooh! I know!!! What if you put some glue, little rubber patches and some other weird stuff like chalk and a funny scrapy thing that I can't figure out into a little box, then you could fix stuff like this without resorting to greasy duck wing oddness.

Don't you watch TV? They already have this sort of thing, although I believe it's a type of putty that sticks to wet surfaces. Seals leaks in hoses, pipes, waterheaters and is a permenant solution for inconstancy. Only $19.95, and if you order right now, we'll double your order FREE.

And we'll throw in a totally free-of-charge gratis and at no cost, 100% green Plastic-effect style applicationisationiser, with built-in integral Handlygripalator so you can, errrrrrm, hold it, errrm, properly.

-- ultra-toaster 3000, Oct 13 2009

Duck tape already exists - possibly 'duct tape' is a derivative.

So you might want to change the name.
-- Loris, Oct 13 2009

oops. I meant six sticks of mighty putty. For a triple offer. For $19.99.

....I miss Billy Mays. The world is much duller without oxy-clean commercials. I used to call him the "oxy- moron"
