Edible energy - or fertilizer-producing lawnmower   (+4)  [vote for, against]
Goats eats grass, goat waste energyconverted energy, goat converted to food product

I thought I had posted this before but I can't find it. Some cities are replacing gasoline powered lawnmower's with goats.I suggest that the goats be equipped with a waste collection bag similar to a horse waste collection bag. the goat manure could be collected and turned into fertilizer, or the manure pile could be tapped for the extraction of energy producing gas in the way that garbage dumps produce gas presently. When the goat is no longer of service it could be turned into a food product. 2009 11 22: The goat milk could be sold to raise cash to care for the goats and feed them in the winter when the kudzu dies. The property to be grazed would be set up with a temporary boundary fence used to activate the electric collars on the goats in order to keep them from straying. The goat manure can be used to feed algea used to create crude bio oil.

Gr.: "Edible energy- or fertilizer-producing lawnmower."

But yes, why not. After all, if the goat dropping falleth where it will, then it is simply fertilising the grass that was growing too much in the first place.

I suspect the goat would just reach round and eat the bag, but [+] anyway.

The city uses goats here in Chattanooga, TN to help with the kudzu problem. they even have a donkey for a watchguard.

Thank you for the title correction: "Edible energy- or fertilizer-producing lawnmower"

Sunny: you have invented goat husbandry. I think there is a great chance of it being successful. Next up, consider ideas about round things which might roll and so facilitate the movement of a sledge. Possibly also a scheme by which people exchange sex acts for food or money.

I would also suggest that cities equip every telephone pole with loudspeaker broadcasts of Gunnar Svendbyortsen's collection.. "Classic Yodels of the Swedish Women's Goatherd Assn.

Known to promote good behaviour, healthy appetite, and superior milk production.

Broadcasting all daylight hours including holidays.

Naturally, northern climes will get a break during winter months.

What a snide jerk that bungston can be. He should eat lunch before he unloads the sarcasm on earnest, well meaning ideas.

Sorry, Sunstone. But if you followup on those suggestions of mine I guarantee you some toast.
