When requesting a phone number via mobile phone directory assistance, being told the number orally is often not very helpful since I don't have anything to write with and can't punch it into the phone while listening to it. Although the directory assistance people will helpfully connect a call through to the requested number at no additional charge (at least with my wireless company) it would be even handier if the number could come up on my phone for inclusion in the directory so I'll have it the next time I need it.
