Exhaust accordion   (0)  [vote for, against]
A merry tune

This product is a musical instrument which is attached to the car exhaust. It minimally impedes exhaust flow, but channels the exhaust thru holes and reeds akin to an accordion. Mounted under the radio is a small keyboard so that while waiting in red light or stuck in traffic, the driver can play a merry tune.

Large groups of cars could play in harmony, or with different parts. If this device becomes popular, people may acquire different instrument - bagpipe, oboe etc. They may maneuver to be near other cars bearing desired instruments to fill out their group, so that during the red light all parts can be played.

Sign me up for an exhaust recorder. Annoy the heck outta everyone with my rendition of "Hot Cross Buns!"

Ambulances should play bagpipes instead of sirens. People would get out of the way a lot faster.

I'm really looking forwards to impromtu duets at stoplights....

[alternatively visualising being stuck in traffic on the freeway, surrounded by a dozen cars all doing "Ina-Godda-Davida".......]

I'd suggest running the accordian off engine vacuum. That way it would harness energy that would otherwise go to waste in the throttle.

Now, when committing suicide with the always dependable hose-from-the-tailpipe method, you’ll have the option of bagpipe or accordion accompaniment.
