Culture: Alternate Soundtracks
Famous People Laugh Track   (+1)  [vote for, against]
Got a sitcom that sucks? Why not have Albert Einstein, FDR, Winston Churchill and Sigmund Freud laughing at your stupid jokes?

For instance, here's the TV Show Idea: "Whoopsie and Daisy"

A show about two gals who share an apartment, one an idealistic positive person and the other a salty negative sort. Here's a sample joke:

Daisy: "I like that person, they've got a warm glow about them."

Whoopsie: "Yea, like Chernobyl." (cue roaring laugh track)

Now here's the good part, the laugh track is complied of recordings made through the years of famous people laughing. These can be collected from interviews, TV appearances, documentaries etc. You'd simply comb through hours of historical footage, recordings etc and when you find a few seconds of the famous person laughing, you cut it out and put it in your collection.

Famous sports figures, politicians, scientists etc, all available in this fabulous collection. Ho Chi Minh and Nixon might not have agreed on much in life, but now that they're dead, they can both spend eternity laughing at your stupid sitcom jokes.

OK, how about this.

Daisy gets a birthday card. As she's reading it says:

"Aww! Aaawwww! Aaaaawwwww!" with tears welling up in her eyes.

Whoopsie, annoyed says: "What does it say for god's sake!"

Daisy turns it around to show to her and written on the card is: "Aww."

(Stalin, Pol Pot, Ho Chi inh and Mao Zedong start laughing uncontrollably.)

Sid James' notorious cackle (q.a.) would be the ideal counterpoint to almost any political interview.
