A Collaborative Weblog for Halfbakery Users!

This idea was baked before I even added it. Now it's twice-baked.

Blogspot http://www.blogspot.com/
Someone create a blog here, call it halfbakery, and make an email address that you can send content to. Please? [dbmag9, Jan 29 2006]

Damn http://halfbakery.blogspot.com/
Someone's taken it. [dbmag9, Jan 29 2006]

Easy +1 vote from me out of respect for the idea, effort and good spirit from the originator.

(...although a quick view of recent "Baked News" postings reveals that there is some stickiness with the naming of the weblog, I still commend Dan's intent, but defer to jutta's concerns and respect her feelings on the matter...)

[After getting Jutta's approval on the name...]

OK, let's try this one more time! :-) I've created a collaborative weblog called "Piping Hot!" The address is http://pipinghot.manilasites.com/. I've also linked it on the left. I'd be glad to add anyone as a contributing editor. Just subscribe to the site and send me an e-mail, dgeiser@iname.com. If you're not familiar with Manila or Weblogs just ask. :-)

Piping Hot! is for anyone who wants to post existing "half-baked" ideas that they come across. There was a "Baked News" idea which we were posting on and now it seems to have disappeared.

Does anyone know what happened to the "Baked News" idea which was on here Half-Bakery as recently as yesterday?
-- dgeiser13, Jan 31 2001

Hello, I would like to encourage anyone to come and join Piping Hot and make submissions of things that probably be apt for Halfbakery if they weren't already baked. I am also looking for co-editors. Anyone is welcome!

Piping Hot is dead, as far as I can tell.
-- dbmag9, Jan 29 2006

Hm! It was dead before because nobody used it, but now it's dead because the provider has stopped hosting free blogs. Clearly, this state of affairs is unbearable! Quick, someone make a new free blog somewhere that we can start ignoring instead of the old one.
