Helium Filled Air Fresheners   (0)  [vote for, against]
Air filters/fresheners that float in the air, and fall to the ground once they fill up with dust.

Oh, yeah, and they're glow-in-the-dark!

This is not so much an idea, more a rueful reflection that even serious design competitions can fall for the idea that merely filling things with helium will magically make them float.

And in the meantime, keep an eye out for next year's Electrolux competition - clearly they are gullible!

"he’d like the product to be inexpensive though helium refills would be costly, and he hasn’t finalized the material of the filter itself" So basically he has nothing at all. I don't see how this could begin to work. It isn't even clear if this freshens or filters air, as there is a difference.

<Something about methane-filled air "fresheners".>

I like the compactness of that double myth. Methane is (1) odorless, and (2) not a large component of farts.
