Flavor tobacco with legal hemp leaves

Hookah and pipe smokers can obtain tobacco in a variety of flavors from apple to vanilla. For reformed heads and people who "just like the taste," rmutt suggests hemp-flavored tobacco, made by mixing tobacco with hemp leaves. The latter should be cheaply available as a by-product of commercial hemp fiber production. Because these have insignificant amounts of THC and other cannabinoids, the resultant blend would be no more intoxicating than normal tobacco, and thus legal, at least prima facie. If hemp-flavored tobacco cigarettes were sold, the predictable outrage would once again underscore the nonsensical nature of the war on some drugs.

I've seen 100% hemp rolling papers, and they smell nothing like the real thing when burned by themselves. I don't know if adding hemp to tobacco would make it smell anything like the real thing.

Well, remember there's a lot of processing before something turns into paper. So burning paper smells only remotely like burning wood (the source for most paper pulp). Rmutt maintains that burning hemp leaves smell and taste a lot like "the real thing" (not that there's anything unreal about hemp).

As long as the Skunkbud and Pokololo flavor is an option... uh, not that I know anything about that sort of thing. *Slap* Quiet Evil dag, *Slap* Quiet.
