Doh! I dropped my licorishna and it got all hari...

I think I'd prefer Reese's PeanutBuddha cups!
-- csea, May 06 2013

Which end do you eat first ?

and what is the sound of two hands feeding ?

I can't help but think a Buddha gelatin mold would be a commercial success, as would the Edible Nativity Set.

PeanutBuddah Jelly Time, PeanutBuddah Jelly Time, Where y'at, where y'at?
-- Private Boney Bunney, May 07 2013

I once saw a most excellent buddha statue in an art dealer's window up west somewhere. It was a great big, fat smiley buddha, maybe a full 4' in height made entirely out of orange perspex - and made me think of a gigantic orange jelly baby.

The idea here is to make real that smiley sense of jelly-friendly-buddhaliness by means of a series of jelly confections so brought about.

//I'm not sure about other religions//

Dionysians, IIRC.
-- pertinax, May 08 2013

Dionysus was a Greek God though...
-- theleopard, May 08 2013

I got your point confused: I thought you meant the Romans made up the Dionysian ritual (which they couldn't have, as the Greeks had worshipped him for centuries prior), and not that they'd assimilated it into their hotch-potch of Pagan-Christianity.

Thanks for the converter though. I'm reading Virgil"s Aeneid at the moment, and all this Jupiter/Juno stuff grates on my preference for Homer (the work of whom is far superior – if it is indeed his work).

I would have given this a Pun Bun on [csea]'s anno alone! [+]
-- Grogster, May 10 2013

Who would bone this? Seriously, this is the one and only time I will request that the fishboner please step forward. I mean, this is an idea with truly universal appeal and deep spiritual connotation. Kofi Annan would laud it as 'a global force for peace'. This is the Gangnam Style of gummie candies. This is Nirvana suspended in corn syrup and carnauba wax, and one of you boned it.

Fie upon you, fishboner. Fie.
-- Alterother, May 10 2013

If you meet the Buddha along the road, eat him.
-- tatterdemalion, May 10 2013

I don't think you ready for this jelly
I don't think you ready for this jelly
I don't think you ready for this
'Cause my body too Buddhalicious for ya babe.
