Knitted Car Cosy   (+5)  [vote for, against]

A grotesquely over-size tea-cosy, complete with the tassle on the top, which fits all shapes and sizes of car equally badly.

A street of parked cars would look so much more pleasant.

This prototype is keeping a BMW 6 Series coupe toasty warm. http://folksy.com/i...nd-knitted-tea-cosy

I think this is in the bakery already...... too lazy to look though - ha. Actually it was my own idea that I was confusing it with for a Television Tea Cosy. All ideas for any kind of Tea Cosy are good. Minute Man Missile Tea Cosy anyone?

Need to select yarns or designs that won't melt on the exhaust pipe.

A perfect halfbakery idea this.

But surely the perfect Halfbakery idea would be imperfect?

//But surely the perfect Halfbakery idea would be imperfect?//

That's one of those logical loops, I got into one of those once, I spent an entire day doing nothing new, watched only TV shows I'd already seen, ate food I'd eaten many times before... nothing new. By the end of it, I deduced that it was possible to spend a day without learning anything. Then I realized that this was new information to me. Therefore I'd learned something. I repeated the routine the next day, got to the end realizing I'd learned nothing new. But then I already knew that. So I'd learned nothing, thus invalidating the previous day's conclusion... and providing me with a new conclusion... which invalidated the previous invalidation.

I got out by drinking a lot of whiskey.

That's just gross.
