Slippers with spots

For Granny going for a wee-hour wee-wee, big Daddy heading down the stairs for a midnight snack or Junior sleepwalking on the crosswalk, these house slippers with headlights are indispensable.

A small light is mounted in each toe powered by a battery in the sole. A switch turns on the light when it is dark and a foot is inserted. Models range from LED-shining Shufflers to the Aladdin Lamps with a high beam on each upturned toe.

"A lamp unto my feet..."

Would they be street-legal with turning signals and the whole bit?

What a clever idea. I'm not one to regularly leave my bed in the small hours, but I have friends who would undoubtedly love a pair of these. Little ones for po's cats would also be cute

hey [mad] that is inspired! thank you.

Sorry [FJ], but you're competing with 11-year-old girls with this idea. See link.

As many supposed, it's really too obvious and practical an idea to not have been done before.
