List of (Self-)Deleted Ideas   (+1, -1)  [vote for, against]
If you find that you've trimmed the Idea Bonsai a bit too much...

Occasionally I'll run through my list and delete Ideas: chronologically induced artistic differences usually, ... but a few months/years later and I want to refer to it or something and... <doh!>

So, just a list of the self-deleted ideas which are only accessible to the logged-in user, perhaps a "deleted posts" button to bring up the list, that can be undeleted by the owner if wanted.

Your ideas as of 22/12/2008 http://web.archive..../user/FlyingToaster
You can find deleted ideas in the Wayback Machine [theleopard, Jun 09 2011]

I really liked this one of mine http://web.archive....a/Exit_20Fee_20Club
But apparently it was widely-known-to-exist. <sniff> [theleopard, Jun 09 2011]

The Wayback Machine Internet Archive will have them all cached...

I can't find the one I'm looking for

Is it a droid?
-- theleopard, Jun 09 2011

The Internet Wayback Machine doesn't "have them all cached".

What's the idea you're looking for?
-- theleopard, Jun 09 2011

It's happened quite a few times: I get bored and decide to prune, sometimes to my later discomfiture. As an example, "Lunar Rail System" which was probably posted in the first half of 2008 then deleted because I was meaning to repost it as two separate posts, all polished up and I'm too lazy to redo all the math involved.

Other examples are ones which I ephemerally thought were too boring or "practical".

You're right, it's not in there. You must have uploaded and deleted it between cachings. Bummer! There was one called Lunar Biometrics, but I guess that's something different.
-- theleopard, Jun 09 2011

heheh, quite different.

Stop deleting your brilliant ideas, toaster person.

// Is it a droid? //

Yes, but these aren't the droids he's looking for. He doesn't need to see your identification. You can go about your business. Move along ...

I don't think i'd reach the point where i wished an idea i'd deleted was still there. I generally just delete it and move on.
