Little men witness protection service   (+3)  [vote for, against]
Who cares about the little guys?

Attempts to clear up grainy, black and white CCTV footage to identify offenders is not easy. So, I was thinking just ask the little men in camera to identify the criminal.

This then brings up the problem of a witness protection scheme. I'm thinking a heavily armoured matchbox that lives in the waistcoat pocket of a witness protection officer, and a fenced-off toadstool with armed guards in a secluded glade for a rural hideout.

I know some of those mushrooms look very similar, but it's important not to confuse them. Now go sit in a comfy chair until the hallucinations subside. Try to stay hydrated, and think peaceful thoughts.

How do you know that the little men that live in the camera aren't in league with the crooks ?

In the context of the delusional paradigm, I expect they've signed sworn affidavits to record only what they see, without alteration or omission, to the best of their ability, so help them Dog.

That's the point, to give the little men a way to tell the truth without getting the old "you know that little man who testified? He sleeps with the plankton now" line.

Someone's been reading Pratchett?

That was my first thought as well, but no mention of imps.
