Longevity probiotics in fast food sauces   (+4, -1)  [vote for, against]
Some probiotics bacteria are published as increasing longevity 90-20%, put these in fast food at 1/10th-1.25 cents a dose

LKM512 yogurt (and I think it could be made into a probiotics powder) makes mice live 90% longer and there are a number of probiotics that longevize c elegans.

Putting versions of these verified as longevizing mice at sandwich sauces, dipping sauces, pizza toppings, and if the probiotics live, and they might as spores, at nondairy or dairy creamer makes it so eating fast food make people live longer.

Alibaba lists probiotics powders from about $3.00-50.00 per kilogram, so that is less than 1/10th of a cent to 1.25 cents a dose to the fast food company

There are better references but this one shows 20% greater longevity at c elegans from probiotics at the figure https://www.ncbi.nl...gov/pubmed/29748542

LKM512 yogurt (possibly probioticizable) causing mice to remain alive much longer, at this paper, or the other, at supplemental data I think it shows the 90% lifespan increase https://www.ncbi.nl...gov/pubmed/21858192
[beanangel, Mar 31 2020]

I think this is the paper where LKM512 yogurt causes 90% lifespan increase at a graph in the supplemental data https://www.ncbi.nl...gov/pubmed/24686447

I should really draw the line a bit short of "longevizing", but [+]

Yup. Spotted it correctly.

// makes mice live 90% longer //

That's great for mice, but the money for fast food comes from humans. Mice just steal it from waste bins - you want something that makes humans live 90% longer, then they'll want to buy it.

[-] because people who eat fast food shouldn't get an advantage.

//published as increasing longevity 90-20%//

Got a reasonable link for that?

How about feeding the probiotics to the mice, then incorporaing the mice into the fast food?

Owls thrive on mice; what could possibly go wrong ?

Put some links up, I think the supplemental data at the papers shows the 90% lifespan increase at mice, at least there are two LKM512 yogurt papers with different authors

Well, the Chinese have a "Year of the Rat". Shoud everyone be looking forward to the "Century of the Mouse" ?

What about capybara ? Natural lifespan 6 years, 12 in captivity. Feed 'em yoghurt and they'll live long enough to vote...

Lousy Year of the Rat. The last one was 2008, incidentally. 1984 wasn't a particularly good year, either.

Not even Tawny Port ?

This would be very dependent on an individual's current digestive biota, if there turns out to be is some metabolic advantage.
