Marshmallow singles   (+5)  [vote for, against]
For fast fluffernutters

for you limey fellows over there on cabbage island (that's what I call it, anyway), a fluffernutter sandwich is a sandwich with a filling of peanut butter and marshmallow fluff cream/spread. Marshmallow fluff is a product that's basically spreadable marshmallow.

so I propose marshmallows be produced in thin sheets the size of slices of bread, so that a fluffernutter could be made very quickly and easily.

This technology could be combined with the already existing peanut butter singles slices, allowing one to make a fluffernutter in 8 seconds flat.

cool thing is the singles wouldn't need to be individually wrapped like they do with the cheese and peanut butter slices, since they already spray the marshmallows with that powder coating so they don't stick together.

This is clearly the best and most useful invention you've ever heard of, filling a formerly desperate need in our economy.

//fluffernutter//

I'm pretty sure this has something to do with gay porn, actually.

If you listen carefully, you can hear the sad little crinkly-crackly noise of your pancreas collapsing into a little grey whithered thing like an autumn leaf …

Saturated fat, refined sugars, no fibre, minimal protein … what's not to like ?

I'm from this side of the pond, and I (fortunately) have never heard of a fluffernutter sandwich. Not everyone here is from the Midwest. Just like not all British are Welsh.

What's the average timescale between ingestion and emesis?

We have *fluffernutters* in New England, but mostly kids eat them...or people who don't cook and think peanuts, sugar and bread are 3 food groups.

[+] even thoughI keep thinking this is for individually packaged normal marshmallows.

You could also fry them up.

// fry them up. //

It's ideas like that which came close to killing Elvis Presley.

Heathier marshmallows can be made, but gelatin and refined sugar are so cheap that i doubt it will happen. I'll eat marshmallows into a stupor so have to bun mallows.

healthier marshmallows? But how? Marshmallows are by their nature candy mixed into beaten eggwhites. I don't see how they could be duplicated, at least not while keeping that specific foamy/springy texture.
