Immortal culinary heirlooms

So your children say they like your cookies. They'll like them in 50 years if they are made out of brass. Try aluminum for easier transport, or platinum for special occasions. Not only will they ensure your gastronomical heritage extends into the future, but they are also healthy, as they will pass right through the intestinal tract intact. Add uranium chips to add variety to your lineage.

My biggest concern is that when dipped in hot coffee, they would quickly heat themselves to near boiling and cause injury to the hand.

Hang on [mylodon], is there a connection between the pets you *could* eat in fifty years' time (as per your idea in the link), and the cookies you couldn't?

You would want to enjoy the next 50 years, with cookies and pets. There is no reason to eat preserved mixed pets; they are pets after all.

you just wait till they start throwing them at each other.
